Annual meeting; Wednesday, October 3, 2025



1. Secretary’s report sent out to members prior to the meeting. The minutes were approved. 

2. Treasurer’s report by Chris Campbell. We have $10,372.47 in our treasury. Report approved by Doug Campbell and seconded by Ty Danco.
Motion made by Doug Campbell to give $1,000 for the dirt road members for road maintenance and $1,000 for the beach as needed. Motion seconded by Ty Danco. Motion passed.

3. Dues Recommendations: Motion made by Liz Miller to assess $25 dues per household and seconded by Ty Danco to build the treasury.

Checks should be made out to the Appletree Point Association, and sent to Chris Campbell at 406 Appletree Point Road.

4. No beach report. Mike Early joined the existing beach committee of Jamie Coffrin, Kit Ardell and Ty Danco. Mike has noticed some dog owners are not picking up after their dogs on the beach. He offered to see about signage just past the Strathmore beach reminding beach-walkers with dogs.

5. Old Business. Amanda Robbins offered to speak to the Strathmore Association about sharing their weekly water quality reports. Jeff has put a link on the Appletree Point Association blog for anyone who might be interested in becoming a water-quality monitor for the Lake Champlain Project (https://appletreepoint.blogspot.com/). 

6. New business: After a long discussion on the use of our association money,Ty Danco moved to set aside a $200 fund for the annual 4th of July gathering, and for the Association meeting every year. Seconded by Liz Miller, and approved.  Chris Campbell will create a bill for the two functions.

7. Elections. Ty Danco made the motion and Liz seconded retaining the present board:

Amanda Robbins, Vice President
Christine Campbell, Treasurer
Andy Kenney, Secretary
Board Members:Kit Ardell, Shanta Eastman and Doug Campbell

Meeting adjourned at 8:07. Members remained to socialize!
